How to manage your DNS (Domain Name System)


If you have not purchased a domain from us, but purchased web hosting,
then you will need read below to learn how to change the name servers for your domain.

If you need assistance in doing this, then email support.

You will need to determine who the registrar of your domain is.
Go to
www.whois.net and type your domain name into the lookup box.

Here is an example of what you would type in the "WHOIS Lookup" box: destinyreef.com
After you press submit, look down the page until you see something similar to this:

Domain Name: DESTINYREEF.COM 
Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.   
<----------
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com 
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com 
Name Server: NS1.DESTINYREEF.COM 
Name Server: NS2.DESTINYREEF.COM 
Status: ACTIVE 
Updated Date: 12-jul-2003 
Creation Date: 27-jan-2001 
Expiration Date: 27-jan-2006

All you have to do now is login to your registrar's account for your domain or call your registrar
and ask them to change your existing nameservers to point to:
NS1.DESTINYREEF.COM & NS2.DESTINYREEF.COM
